Keewatin Farm is involved
in special events - be it hosting of Conference participants,
hay rides, or weddings.
Hosting
Keewatin Farm has hosted a variety of international and
national visitors. With its location only one half-hour from
Regina (and the international airport) it is a very handy
location.
Conferences can include a trip to Keewatin Farm as an afternoon
or morning session, with the opportunity for conference goers
to have a break from the windowless environment of most conferences,
smell the breezes, and take a handful of prairie soil. We are
pleased to give an introduction to prairie agriculture, or if
so desired, a presentation on organic farming, with the chance
for participants to walk the fields and ask questions.
If enough time can be allocated, the
trip could include the experience of a lifetime - a
hay ride on a wagon pulled by Canada’s
National Horse - the Canadien.
