Keewatin Farm is located
just one half-hour drive from the capital, Regina, a city of
almost 200,000., only 6.9 km off Highway #11.
This 960 acre farm, owned and operated by Elaine McNeil and
Will Oddie, is a primarily certified organic field-crop operation,
growing a variety of cereals, oilseeds, and pulses, with the
recent addition of some raspberry and Saskatoon berry bushes.

The farm has an abundance of plantings including hedgerows
of mature spruce trees, and over the past many years we have
planted field shelterbelts throughout the farm. The farm yard
is only a few hundred yards from our own small prairie valley
with own year-round spring. The valley is home to our herd of
registered Canadien horses, and serves a habitat for a number
of prairie creatures - from frogs and ducks to hawks and white-tail
deer. With its native plants and wildflowers, the valley is
a wonderful place for a hike or horse ride.
We are delighted to host both two and four-legged creatures,
obviously in different accomodations!
Bed and Breakfast
In the case of humans, we are pleased to have you share
our big old brick farmhouse with us. We have three comfortable
rooms available to guests, all served by the same common bathroom
facilities.
You are welcome to walk the grounds, sticking close to the
house or wandering down to rub noses with the horses or hike
through the pasture and valley enjoying the birds, flowers and
wildlife.
If you would like, we can accomodate your interest in horses
with a ride in the saddle or in a four-wheeled wagon

Bed and Bale
Blessed by a year round flowing stream and with a number
of safe, round-pipe fenced paddocks, Keewatin Farm can accommodate
your horses during your over night stay in fine style. Wheel
your trailer into our yard and enjoy a good night's sleep
while on your journey. Reasonable rates available - please
inquire.
